Space Coast Symphony

Michele Wallace Campanelli is the Social Media Director for the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, which performs concerts across central Florida. This position includes public relations, graphic design, concert photography, ad creation, and digital marketing via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Michele’s history with the Space Coast Symphony

In 2010, Michele began attending Space Coast Symphony concerts and singing with the SCSO Chorus. She later became a season ticket holder because she loved the orchestra, their programming, and thought Maestro Aaron Collins, “the most talented conductor in the world!”

In 2015, Michele took a photo of herself with an SCSO brochure and posted it on social media. Then, conductor Aaron Collins asked Michele to speak to Joyce Wilden (Buzz Biz Public Relations) to join the SCSO Marketing Team.

Music at the Watering Hole

In November 2020, Space Coast Symphony presents Music at the Watering Hole,” written by Michele Wallace Campanelli. The two-day family concert event, brings Michele’s children book, Music at the Watering Hole, to life through arts and acrobats. Musicians are Superheroes

In November 2019, Twelve Atlas Films performed “Musicians Are Superheroes”, written by Michele Wallace Campanelli. Over 3,000 children attended the six multimedia events delivered by Conductor Aaron Collins and the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. Characters such as Spiderman and Captain Jack Sparrow welcomed the child attendees. To date, it is the most successful children’s event in the orchestra’s 11-year history!

Conductor Aaron Collins

Hailed for his electric conducting and the compelling insight of his musicianship, Aaron Collins continues to attract national attention. He is one of the most outstanding American conductors working today. An award-winning composer and conductor, Collins is making his mark in the music world and is recognized for his commitment to creative artistry, innovative programming, leadership, philanthropy, and audience, and community engagement. Young and dynamic, he has established himself as one of the most gifted conductors and musicians of his generation.

Collins serves as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. He also serves on the Board of Directors of several other arts-based organizations, including President of the Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard.

He is the youngest winner of the ‘4 under 40′ award presented by LEAD  Brevard and one of the Space Coast Business’ Most Admired People. In 2016, Collins won the Richard A. Stark Award for cultural leadership. Described as “the next big thing,” “a man on fire,” “one of the most promising conductors working today,” and “an absolute powerhouse,” Collins maintains a schedule of more than 250 concerts a year.
